2010 Percy Stallard--Spiuk--National Road Race series reminder from series co-ordinator Mick Ives
The series kicks off at Audlem,Cheshire organised by Mike Wilson--
on Sunday 25th April,lets hope you have got your entries in ?
We have 8 events in the series this year, but the Alford Wheelers races in Lincolnshire and the Syd Wightman Memorial in Kent are on the same day, --Sunday 9th May, as that was the only day these organisers were able to promote their event--this should not prove a problem ,as they are a long way apart, and we urgently need events in both these areas. It will mean that the series will be contested over a maximum of seven events,with the best five counting.
The LVRC will this year be adding to the overall Prize list --which once again will be sponsored by Spiuk UK.
Please make sure you get your entries in early as events will close three weeks before the event,and remember in the event of a full field,the organisers have been advised by the Ex.Committee, to select riders from Teams/Clubs that promete LVRC events , in preference to those who do not.It's only fair,as there are a lot of Clubs/Teams , who don't promote.
I trust you all have a very competitive and safe National Series.--look forward to seeing you up the road.

26/03/2010 - RAPHA CONDOR HOG HILL SERIES REVISIONS

REGION 9 - Saturdays May 15, June 12 & 26 July 10 & 17
RAPHA CONDOR HOG HILL SERIES - Revised race formats.
The race format has been changed and there will now be three races all held on the bottom circuit
with a final lap on the full circuit finishing on the hill.
i.e. Categories A&B 1 Hour lower circuit plus 1 lap of the full circuit finish on the hill.
Categories C&D 50 minutes lower circuit plus 1 lap of the full circuit finish on the hill.
Categories EFG&H 45 minutes lower circuit 1 lap of the full circuit finish on the hill.
Racing commences with the EFGH race at 12.00 hours.

03/03/2010 - IMPORTANT NOTE TO ORGANISERS
Last season thanks to the co-operation of race organisers the majority of results from our races up and down the country appeared on the website and in the VL. This year if they can send them to me and to Andy Barrett, the VL editor in as full a form as possible, with if possible a short report, perhaps we can reach 100% of our events appearing. Thank you. It was agreed at the 2009 agm that Racing Recommendation 11 should be deleted. It is still in the hadbok which is an error. Please note Recomendation 11 no longer applies.
