This is an on-line Belgian Road Race Calendar for 2010. Not yet included are the VLG-WBV disabled sport events, because they have not yet been published. The VWF races are only shown until April and this will be extended shortly. There are more 360 races shown in these calendars!!
This calendar includes races for Amateurs, Masters, Tourists and for none members and is compiled with information that is given to us. We can't take responsibility for any errors and for certainty regular checks should be made to these web sites.

01/02/2010 - LVRC DINNER- PERSONAL APPEAL FROM MICK IVES
As Organiser of the LVRC Dinner and Champions Evening for the past 4 years I would like to make some comments to the LVRC membership.
It is the one time that we can promote our Association to the cycling world, with pride and passion , and the chance to honour our champions, etc.
An opportunity to welcome and introduce 'Sponsors--Media --celebrities to cycling and to the LVRC---if we stop having this annual event--all those opportunities will be lost..
The LVRC Dinner is never going to make a profit-its one of those events that we have to self fund,--if we can reap an income on the way thats good.
The support from National Champions and alike to come along to the Dinner has been very poor--in fact pathitic---especially this last time--we had only 1 Medal winner from from the A, B, C, and D class , from Road,Criterium, amd Stallard competitions which is appauling.--once again indicating that its the 'Old Gits ' who support the LVRC most of all.
The Ex Committee are undeceided if we should bother with an annual Dinner.
Personnaly,I think its a MUST for the LVRC --is a Flag Ship , to say to everone -what we are , and what we achieve,,-may be if we had the support of our younger members we wouldn't be having this descussion
As Social Sec ,I am happy to continue to organise dinner,-provided it can be fitted into a date that I am able to work to. The price of Dinner Tickets last year was the same as 4 yrs ago--the Venue is central ,and impressive, --the food excellent---but its up to the membership and the Ex Committee--dates need to be fixed ( or not ).
We have a President --we have sponsors,we have Champions, and we have wives and girlfriends--it should be their night out .
I look foward to hearing comments from members .

The Reading CC Stallard event is now on Oct 3rd not Sept 19th.
26/01/2010 - DONATION FOR HAITI FROM LVRC TRACK SESSION
LVRC donation for Haiti
At the Region 4 track training session on 24 January at Manchester Velodrome, riders very kindly donated £50 to the Oxfam appeal for Haiti. Thanks to everyone who contributed from Dave Watson.
