Seventeen years of LVRC track training at Manchester Velodrome
Fancy riding on the fastest track in the world? Would you like the chance to ride behind a derny motorbike? If so, Region 4 is pleased to announce that for the seventeenth consecutive year there will be LVRC track training at Manchester this winter. These sessions are suitable for all levels of ability, including complete novices.
The dates and times are as follows:
Sunday 1st December 2013 3pm to 5pm
Saturday 11th January 2014 3pm to 5pm
We hope to be able to announce further dates for February and March in due course.
Please enter on a standard LVRC entry form, enclosing £12 per session. One form may be used for multiple dates. Please make cheques payable to "D Watson". Please don't forget to enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
Hire bikes are available. If you need one, simply specify the size required on your entry form and pay for it on arrival at the track.

LVRC OMNIUM - NEWPORT, 9/10 FEB 2014
The first LVRC Omnium competition will take place at Newport Velodrome on Sunday 9th February 4pm - 8pm and Monday 10th February 9am - 1.30pm.
The first 3 events (flying lap, points race 15k/10k and elimination race) will be on Sunday afternoon, and the remaining 3 events (pursuit 3k/2k, scratch race 10k/7.5k and time trial 750m/500m) on Monday morning.
The entry fee will be £30, entries will be limited to 50-60 riders and there will prizes for the first 3 in each age category.
Online entry through RiderHQ will be available from 14 December.

DATE SET FOR LVRC TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014
The 2014 Track Championships will take place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September at Newport Velodrome. Steve Davies has kindly agreed to organise the championships again.
DIRECTIONS TO NEWPORT VELODROME
From Junction 24 of the M4, follow the A48 west over 5 roundabouts (straight over 2, left at one, then straight over 2 more) before turning left just after the Velodrome and Newport Stadium on your left. Then turn first left and first right, signed to ‘International Sports Village’.
